Grantmaking
The Hershey Foundation is drawn to unique, innovative and impactful projects for children in Northeast Ohio.
Priority is given to:
Creative educational programs for children
Early childhood initiatives
Nature, arts, cultural and science experiences for children
At this time, we are moving toward proactive grantmaking. We ask that you not send any proposals or inquiries unless requested to do so by the Foundation. Please know that you may only apply for a grant if you receive an invitation.
Funding is provided for:
equipment that directly impacts the children
capital campaigns
endowment campaigns
Funding is not provided for:
salaries
computers, software or technology
annual campaigns
research or feasibility studies
consulting services
operating budgets
individual loans
scholarships
general purposes
mass mailings
individuals
The Hershey Foundation reserves the right to initiate and fund projects and organizations that are of particular interest to family members.
